Some backyards are built for everyday relaxing. Others are built for the moments you’ll remember for the rest of your life. This month’s winner manages to be both. Installed by AquaPools in Cleburne, Texas, The Intrigue 30 in Tahiti Blue from Aviva Pools was finished just in time to host a family engagement party, and it has been the heart of the home ever since.

A Pool Built for a Celebration

The homeowners had a clear goal and a firm deadline. They wanted a beautiful new pool ready for their daughter’s engagement party, and AquaPools delivered. From start to finish, the team had the pool installed and ready to enjoy in less than three weeks.

AquaPools also handled the details that often slow a project down. The team prepared all the documents needed for the homeowners’ HOA and helped them through the permitting process, so the family could focus on planning the party instead of paperwork.

  • Award & Project: AquaPools won Aviva Pools’ August 2026 Pool of the Month for installing an “Intrigue 30” fiberglass pool in Tahiti Blue in Cleburne, Texas.

  • Design & Materials: Styled with a resort-like feel, it incorporates rough-cut limestone coping, dark river rock, textured concrete deck pads designed for rainwater drainage, and a non-saltwater design to protect the stone.
  • Water Features: Includes a two-tier limestone water wall fitted with sheer descent cascade waterfalls and flanking planter bowls.

The homeowners said the experience exceeded every expectation.

“We had AquaPools install our new pool last summer for our daughter’s engagement party. They had this stunning pool installed and ready to go in less than three weeks. The experience was easy; the customer service was amazing and our yard never looked better. We were so happy with our pool. Maintenance is so easy that I do it myself. I don’t even have a pool guy. If you want a great pool like this for you and your family, I highly recommend that you contact AquaPools.”

The Intrigue 30 With an Integrated Spa

At the center of this design is The Intrigue 30 from Aviva Pools. At 30 feet long, it offers plenty of room to swim and gather, and its integrated spa adds a place to unwind any time of year. The spa features four jets and spills over into the pool below, creating a gentle, soothing sound that carries across the backyard.
A gas heater keeps the water comfortable well beyond the summer months, so the family can enjoy both the pool and the spa whenever the mood strikes.

Tahiti Blue Against Natural Stone

Tahiti Blue gives this pool its bright, inviting look. The rich blue finish pairs beautifully with the warm tones of the limestone and the dark river rock surrounding it, and the contrast makes the water practically glow in the Texas sun.

Rough cut limestone coping frames both the pool and the spa, giving the space a natural, grounded feel. Because limestone and salt don’t mix well, this pool was designed without a saltwater system to protect the stone for years to come.

A Two-Tier Water Wall with Cascading Waterfalls

The showpiece of this backyard is the limestone water wall behind the pool. It was built in a two-tier design, shorter on the sides and taller in the middle, which leaves the perfect spot on each end for the homeowners’ decorative planter bowls. Sheer descents pour from the wall, and 12-inch cascade waterfalls add even more movement and sound to the space.

The result feels less like a backyard pool and more like a private resort.

A Modern Deck with Smart Design

The surrounding deck is one of the most eye-catching features of the project. Instead of one solid slab of concrete, the design uses individual concrete pads with a salt finish, which gives each surface a subtle textured look. Medium black river rock fills the gaps between the pads.

This approach does more than look good. The open spaces between the pads allow rainwater to drain naturally, a smart choice in areas with limits on impervious surfaces. Next to the rough-cut limestone coping, the salt finish concrete creates a clean, modern look you don’t often see around a pool.

Congratulations to AquaPools

With a flat, open yard to work with, the AquaPools team was able to bring this vision to life quickly and beautifully. From the limestone water wall to the river rock deck, every detail works together to create a backyard that’s as elegant as it is easy to maintain.

Congratulations to AquaPools on being named the Aviva Pools August 2026 Pool of the Month. If you’re dreaming of a backyard like this one, reach out to AquaPools or find an authorized Aviva Pools dealer near you to get started.
